This is an excellent book which I highly reccomend. Carter has collected folk tales from a wide variety of sources and cultures which have strong female characters in them. She uses the more orally based tales, rather than literary creations, which gives the stories some real zest. Instead of a collection of didatic stories about good feminist heroines, this is a collection of stories about strong women, both good and bad. Their craftiness may save their home or allow them to cheat their way to glory. I adore this collection, and reccomend highly to parents who want to give their children something to read that doesn't have namby pamby princesses who wait around to be rescued, or adults who loved fairy tales as a child.

After taking a part in this show in the fall of 1998, I fell in love with each character within the show. I desperately wanted the score to the show, but realized that this idea was out of the question because it would cost me (too much money). In theater class, i was searching through scripts and came across this rather thin but thourough script of Sweeney Todd. It's definitely a keeper with all of the rare pictures and drawings that are included in it. Buy it!

This book went beyond what I first thought it was going to be about. Thinking it would be a book on helping chidren understand how the 10 Commandments apply in our lives today. I was captivated on how well the authors explained the commandments and gave examples so simple that children of all ages can easily understand them especially the activities, where parents participate in with them. I highly recommend this book for every family whether you have children or not. You will get a much better understanding of the 10 Commandments and have alot of fun in the process.

Mulford's biography of Warner and Ackland is the best source of information on their lives, politics, and writing so far. She gives a remarkably comprehensive and insightful account of the twenty years on which her books centers. This is one of the best biographies of anyone that I have ever read.

Books in this series use real science facts. I think this book is good because it has lots of surprises. When I was reading the book it was the thing I wanted to do most until I finished it. When I finished it I wished there was more to read.

Excelent,Lamb exceeds himself in this novel. It worths 100% the purchase.
